Current Role Working with Athletes

Besides working primarily on Cross fitters, Competitive Runners, Triathletes, and Cyclists at my private practice I also work with Clemson's Men's Basketball Team and Colorado Rockies Single A Affiliate The Asheville Tourists. All of the athletes receive some level of Chiropractic Care if needed, and a heavy dose of manual therapy, mobility and rehab exercises.

Professional Philosophy

The spine and nervous system plays an integral part in an athletes ability to perform at their optimal level, but not the only part. Fascial/Muscular Restrictions, and Mobility play a far greater roll in not only the nervous system's functioning, but also in the functioning of the athlete's musculoskeletal system as a whole. If we don't address the soft tissue limitations within the athlete the nervous/muscular systems will not function optimally. Both need to be addressed and are addressed in my treatment methods, using a variety of techniques, in order to get the athlete back and performing at their peak.
