Athletic & Training Background

The first year and a half of my PT practice I worked primarily with high school athletes with a wide range of athletic injuries from ACL tears to ankle sprains.

Current Role Working with Athletes

Currently, I work more with college athletes and recreational runners. I work with runners dealing with a wide variety of running related injuries. Additionally, I also work one-on-one with runners to analyze their running form and supplementing their training with drills, strengthening, balancing, and educating to help prevent future injuries.

Professional Philosophy

As much as I love helping people get back to their normal lifestyle once they have sustained an injury or are in pain, I thoroughly enjoy educating my patients on their diagnosis, and more importantly, how they can help me help them. Physical therapy is a conjoined effort on the patient and therapist's behalf; if they understand why they are seeing me and what they can do to help themselves and hopefully prevent further injury, then I have done my job.

"Set goals. But be present during the process that it takes to reach those goals."
