 Athletic & Training Background

I played varsity football, volleyball, and basketball for nationally renown high school St Thomas Aquinas. Short stint at UMass as a walk on for football before I transferred to FSU. Currently I participate in various forms of weightlifting, powerlifting and recreational athletics depending on my interests and goals at the time.

 Current Role Working With Athletes

I treat predominantly high School and college athletes in south florida. A few pro athletes mostly from NFL and MLB. I work closely with the high schools in the area and see a high volume of crossfit, weightlifting, and triathletes. Our main referring clinicians have been the the Miami Dolphins Team Clinicians in the past.

 Professional Philosophy

I pride myself on being a very well rounded clinician. One of the reasons I vary my own athletics and fitness styles is to get first hand experience with everything from olympic weightlifting to triathlons. I have found this very beneficial when it comes to understanding what my patients are experiencing and what their goals include. When it comes to my treatments I try to use whatever technique may be required. As far as manual therapy, I have been greatly influenced by Thomas Myers' work with fascial lines through his Anatomy Trains literature and seminars. Utilizing manual therapy is a small part, I have found that most of my treatments focus around posture. If my patients cannot achieve proper standing posture, breathing patterns etc in standing/sitting then I cannot expect them to perform their sport properly.
