Athletic & Training Background

I BEGAN EXPLORING VARIOUS EXERCISE PROGRAMS JUST AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, STARTING AS A GLOBO GYM MEMBER AND QUICKLY TOOK A LIKING TO RUNNING. WHILE TRAINING FOR A MINI-MARATHON I SUFFERED A STRESS FRACTURE THAT TOOK NEARLY 9 MOS TO FULLY HEAL. DURING THIS TIME I BEGAN TRAINING WITH KETTLEBELLS AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS EQUIPMENT. SINCE 2013, I'VE ENJOYED A MIX OF KETTLEBELL TRAINING, CROSSFIT, OLYMPIC LIFTING, AND YOGA.

Current Role Working With Athletes

CURRENTLY, I OFFER SERVICES OUT OF TWO OFFICES, 1 INSIDE OF A CROSSFIT GYM AND THE OTHER INSIDE A CHIROPRACTOR/WELLNESS CENTER. I TREAT ATHLETES OF ALL LEVELS INCLUDING WEIGHTLIFTERS, CROSSFITTERS, RUNNERS, TRI ATHLETES, & THE SPORATIC EXERCISERS. I ENJOY OFFERING SERVICES DURING CROSSFIT COMPETITIONS AND LOCAL HEALTH FAIR EVENTS.

Professional Philosophies

PROPER MOVEMENT AND POSTURE ARE KEY TO OPTIMAL MUSCULOSKELETAL FUNCTION. WHEN BASELINE MOVEMENT PATTERNS ARE NOT ESTABLISHED, INJURY IS USUALLY LURKING AROUND THE CORNER. THROUGH USE OF SFMA, FMS, MANUAL THERAPY TECHNIQUES, & CORRECTIVES I WORK TO RESTORE NORMAL MOVEMENT AND GUIDE PATIENTS BACK TO THEIR DESIRED ACTIVITIES.

"WE SHOULD FIRST MOVE WELL, THEN MOVE OFTEN. SEEK A QUALITATIVE MINIMUM BEFORE WE WORRY ABOUT QUANTITIES. IF MOVING WELL IS THE STANDARD, MOVING OFTEN IS THE FORESEEABLE OUTCOME." ---GRAY COOK -PRINCIPLE 1
