Athletic & Training Background

Loni was a collegiate softball player for the first two years of undergrad. She began her interest in CrossFit in 2013, obtaining her Level-1 certification in May 2015. She has been competing in local competitions since the summer of 2013.

Current Role Working with Athletes

She works full-time as a Physical Therapist, she works closely with Boston area physicians, treating their post-operative patients as well as assisting in conservative management for their non-operative rehabilitation. Loni is also currently working as a part-time CrossFit Coach at Quincy City Crossfit.

Professional Philosophy

Loni bases her treatment strategies around functional exercise, and she specializes in treating orthopedic injuries. She applies her knowledge of functional fitness training and movement screening to create specialized treatment plans for the most acute injuries through performance-based rehabilitation. She uses the philosophy of not only treating the acute symptoms, but analyzes the athlete to correct the faulty movement pattern that may have caused the injury itself.
