Athletic & Training Background

I played almost every sport growing up, but once I got to high school I narrowed it down and decided to play just football. I was the starting punter for Wellington High School and was fortunate enough to obtain a full ride scholarship to The University of Colorado for punting and went on to be a 4year starter for the Buffaloes. I was a Freshman All-American and was named on the Ray Guy Award (best punter in the country) Watch List every season that I played at CU. Currently I am a powerlifter and I am looking at possibly competing in a meet in November. My best lifts are Squat 550, Deadilft 565, and Bench 325 (all RAW).  While at The University of South Florida I was an Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach in the varsity weight room where I had the opportunity to work with the Football, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Track and Field Teams. After USF, I worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Pittsburgh Pirates. After the Pirates I worked at Athletic Edge Sports in Lakewood Ranch, Florida where I helped train a group of athletes prepping for the NFL Combine.

Current Role Working With Athletes

I am currently a Punting Coach and overseeing Chiropractic Physician for 4th Down Solutions (http://4thdownsolutions.com/). I am also the director of the Sports Performance Program at Ultima Fitness located in Wellington, Fl

Professional Philosophies:

Performance and Wellness Chiropractic provides chiropractic care with the goal of optimizing human ability. We care for patients of all ages, with a variety of health conditions and a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. These often painful conditions can involve or impact the nervous system, which can cause referred pain and dysfunction distant to the region of injury. The human body is a highly adaptive organism and pain is seldom associated with the early occurrence of dysfunction. When pain is present, it may diminish or disappear without corrective action, but often months later emerge as a far worse condition. We utilize a variety of tools and techniques that help us make the invisible visible and correct the dysfunction.

“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”     - Socrates
