Athletic & Training Background

My passion for this industry developed as an athlete. Growing up, basketball was my true love...and I was really good at it. Unfortunately though, I had to experience my potential go unfulfilled. My high school career was plagued by injuries. I spent more time with physical therapists and doctors than I did on the court. I went from being a scholarship level player to Division 3, and never even saw the court in college after a knee injury ended my career before it started.

I’ve lived the frustration of pain preventing you from doing what you love. I’ve dealt with the misery of seeing your potential go unfulfilled. My passion is never letting you experience those feelings.

Current Role Working with Athletes

I currently own a practice specializing in sports injury rehabilitation inside of a sports performance center called Lights Out Academy. My clientele are primarily athletes ranging from middle school/high school, collegiate, professional, and middle-aged.

All sessions are one-on-one and our clients consistently return to doing what they love 2-3x faster than the industry average.

In addition to treating, I am also responsible for performing intake testing on any athlete that comes to our facility for training. During this assessment, we help identify and provide corrective strategies for any movement dysfunctions that may predispose athletes to injury and/or limit their progress with training.

Professional Philosophy

Where you hurt is not why you hurt. My philosophy is all about identifying and correcting the deepest drivers to pain. If you can accurately identify these in assessment, treatment becomes very easy.

"Time spent in assessment is time saved in treatment"

***Since graduating from Ithaca College (NY), I’ve worked relentlessly to hone my craft and become one of the top young therapists and strength coaches in the nation. Prior to starting Next Level PT I completed one of the most acclaimed postdoctoral residency programs in the country, joining <1% of physical therapists who are residency trained.

I’ve worked side-by-side with the best in the rehab and fitness industries, consulting with collegiate and professional sports teams, and developing the most comprehensive system of rehabilitation and training available today. After pouring thousands of dollars and even more hours into learning, training, and attaining several advanced certifications, I'm confident I can provide you with the highest level of PT, performance, and fitness.
