Academic Backround

I graduated in 2012 from Palmer Chiropractic West. I was a member of the Palmer Chiropractic West Sports Council. I have an undergraduate degree in anthropology.

Athletic & Training Background

I’ve been rock climbing since 1999 and I have been a professional athlete since 2001. I am a former National Champion, a Teva Games gold medalist and have earned a spot on the US World Cup Bouldering and Sport Climbing Team multiple years.

I have also been powerlifting for the last 2 years at San Francisco Iron. I compete in the 138lb weight class. I currently squat 290, bench 155 and deadlift 355. Getting stronger every month! I have competed in olympic weightlifting including at the Tommy Kono Open in 2014 in the 63kg weight class.

Current Role Working with Athletes

I have the most experience working with with powerlifters, weightlifters, bodybuilders, crossfit athletes, gymnasts, rock climbers and mountaineers.

Professional Philosophy

My practice focuses on sports medicine, rehab and injury prevention. I take an evidence-based, functional approach to patient care. I utilize an active care model that is patient focused and outcome oriented, empowering patients to participate in their care.

I use Active Release techniques, Graston (IASTM) technique, FMS, functional rehab exercise, chiropractic manipulative therapy (adjustments), Rocktape application, Myofascial decompression technique (cup therapy) and utilize a barbell approach to treating and rehabilitating injuries.
