Current Role Working with Athletes

I am a CrossFit coach as well as a rehabilitation specialist. My "clinic" is nestled right in the middle of a CrossFit box. I work with athletes on their movement to help decrease pain patterns and move more efficiently in their sport AND daily life. I currently work with athletes in several domains ranging from high school competitive, mom and dad recreational, to professional athletes.

Professional Philosophy

In my own personal experience and through practice I’ve learned that a lot of the injuries and pain we experience are the result of how we move through daily life. I’ve also learned that “tape it up and go” isn’t effective to continuing on to be active for the rest of your life. There’s usually a reason for pain or restrictions in movement. I believe that finding those reasons and addressing them goes much farther in allowing us to do the things we love, pain-free, for a long time. I want athletes to learn a new perspective on how their body is functioning so that they can have tools to move as best as they can.
