Current Role Working With The Athletic Population
Regularly treat high-level lacrosse and hockey athletes in the clinic. Work as a team physiotherapist for our local Junior A Lacrosse team - Peterborough Jr. A Lakers Working as a head-therapist in August 2019 at the U-19 Women's Lacrosse World Championships
Professional Philosophy
Our clinic's mission statement is "Movement for life!" I truly believe that empowering people to get and stay active is one of the most fundamental foundations to what we should be striving for as rehab professionals. I like to avoid as much of the "fluff" aka modalities as possible and focus on movement and strength training, education and empowerment.
Athletic Background
Grew up playing rep hockey and baseball. Continue to play men's baseball. Training in a local strength & conditioning gym called Hybdrid Fitness, Health & Performance in Peterborough, ON. Combining weight-lifting & power-lifting with circuit-style accessory training.
Academic Background and Professional Training
Bachelor's in Kinesiology (McMaster University, 2009) Master's in Physiotherapy (McMaster University, 2011)
